Recipe Variations:

  • Add Meat – You can also add browned ground beef or ground sausage to the marinara sauce when serving to change up the flavor.
  • Mix in Vegetables – You can add in squash, mushrooms or olives into the marinara sauce for added flavor and texture.
  • Cheese – Use different flavors of cheese to add different flavors to the fried lasagna.

How to Store and Reheat Leftovers:

These are best served fresh as the breading mixture will get soft as the lasagna sits.Fried lasagna rolls can be stored in the refrigerator but the texture might change. Place in an air tight container for up to 3 days.

When you are ready to serve again, I would recommend reheating in the air fried or oven to get that crispy texture.

How to Freeze Fried Lasagna:

You can freeze fried lasagna leftovers or if they are uncooked. After you have placed them in the freezer for 1 hour, continue cooking and then place in a freezer safe container.

They will stay fresh for up to 2 months. Thaw completely overnight in the refrigerator and then reheat in the oven or air fryer.
